ECB's Praet: Normalisation of central bank instruments is not akin to policy tightening

The outgoing ECB chief economist, Peter Praet, in a keynote speech at the 11th Frankfurt Main Financial Centre Breakfast this Wednesday, said that normalisation of central bank instruments is not akin to policy tightening.

Praet is also scheduled to speak at International Conference on Real Estate Statistics in Luxembourg at 08:00 GMT and participate in panel discussion on "Is the ECB finally returning to standard policies?" at the CEPS Ideas Lab in Brussels at 13:30 GMT.
