ECB policymakers not expecting to make decision on PEPP in September – Reuters
|Citing three sources with knowledge of the matter, Reuters reported on Friday that European Central Bank (ECB) policymakers do not expect to make a decision on possible changes to the Pandemic Emergency Purchase Programme (PEPP) at September's meeting.
Sources further noted that a decision on PEPP was more likely in October or even December as policymakers will have a more clear picture of the impact of the coronavirus Delta variant on the eurozone economy.

With the initial reaction to this headline, the EUR/USD pair edged slightly higher and was last seen posting small daily gains at 1.1777.
