Currency volatility seems to have vanished with the election of Donald Trump in the United States.  Can technical levels supply what politics has removed?  Five months is a long time in a trend less market, but it is not unprecedented. Are the majors approaching technical points that could signal a resumption of active trading? Will the election cycle that began with the Brexit surprise last June, kept its November excitement in the U.S., coasted through Holland, and perhaps France, and then moves to Germany and maybe Italy, have to finish before currency markets feel safe enough to assume the risk?
