The big Bitcoin short trader is now calling it “buyable”

  • Mark Dow, known for calling and taking Bitcoin shorts up at $20,000, now calling it as “buyable”.
  • The former IMF economist shorted BTC from $20,000 down to the low area in December at $3000.

 

Former International Monetary Fund (IMF) economist, Mark Dow, known for famously calling the short on Bitcoin (BTC) up at the peak high from $20,000 to its low in the $3,000 range. He has said now said that Bitcoin is “buyable.”

Dow yesterday tweeted “Bitcoin chart. Buyable”. This came before the recent aggressive moves higher seen of late for the number one cryptocurrency by market cap.

Back in December 2018, when the price dipped to a 12-month low at $3,122, Dow spoke to Bloomberg, detailing how he has closed out of the short contract, which was running since Bitcoin (BTC) was up at its all-time high, $20,000.
