Cryptocurrency regulation is a must for U.S. firms says Circle CEO

  • The Circle CEO was speaking on regulation needed within the United States to BloombergTV.
  • His observations were on participants moving abroad as a factor for motivating regulatory policy. 

 

The CEO of Circle, cryptocurrency trading and investment firm, said that the creation of appropriate regulation will likely be introduced by the United States. 

Jeremy Allaire was speaking on BloombergTV in an interview, speaking on the ongoing tendencies for the participants within the cryptocurrency market participants to move abroad as a factor motivating future regulatory policy. 

He said:
 

The increase in proliferation of digital asset projects outside the U.S., the movement of companies to leave the U.S. and projects to get started outside the U.S. is definitely getting people’s attention,”
