The price hit the highest in over two years in early Thursday’s trading, after 4.3% advance previous day closed well above psychological 50000 barrier, for the first time since mid-December 2021.

Justin Sun’s decentralized blockchain protocol TRON has unveiled plans for expansion into Bitcoin Layer 2 solutions. Sun states that his plan is to enable TRON’s tokens to interact with the Bitcoin network.
All eyes are on the strongest cryptos
The crypto market continues to rise, adding 2.3% to the level of 24 hours ago. Bitcoin's capitalisation has surpassed 1 trillion, and its share of all coins is estimated at 52.5% by CoinMarketCap. The increase in share is due to USDT and the relative stagnation of the share of other cryptocurrencies outside the top five.
