Crypto market overview: Ethereum goes to the moon, the rest follow the lead

  • The major coins are gaining ground during Asian hours on Monday. 
  • Ethereum is the best-performer of the day.

Cryptocurrency market resumed the recovery as Bitcoin and all major altcoins are growing steadily during early Asian hours. The total market capitalization has grown to $186 billion from $180 on Monday. The average daily trading volumes are registered at $52 billion. 

Top-3 coins price overview: 

  • Bitcoin has settled above $5,700 handle, moving within a strong short-term bullish trend. The world’s biggest digital coin has recovered from Monday’s low of $5,564 and gained over 1.5% of its value in recent 24 hours. 
  • Ethereum is the best performing cryptocurrencies out of top-20 pack. The second largest coin by market value is changing hands at $181.00, which is over 10% higher from this time on Monday.  
  • Ripple’s XRP remains sidelined, hovering around $0.3000. The third largest coin has gained about 1/5% in recent 24 hours, but the recovery is capped by the local resistance located at $0.3100.

The biggest market-movers: 

  • Tezos and Maker gained over 7%. Both coins are demonstrating strong positive momentum amid positive sentiments on the cryptocurrency markets 
  • Cardano (ADA) is also doing well with 5% of gains in recent 24 hours. Thee 10th digital asset is changing hands at $0.0683 at the time of writing. 
  • TRON and EOS are up over 4%, moving within the short-term upside trend during early Asian hours.
