Crypto Market Overview: Bitcoin stands tall amongst a sea of red

  • Both XRP/USD and ETH/USD bulls got thwarted by the bears this Thursday.
  • Cosmos (ATOM) was the biggest loser of the day among the top 20 coins.

The entire crypto market plummeted this Thursday. In fact, among the top 20 coins in coinmarketcap, only Bitcoin seems to have had a productive day. Let’s check how the top three coins have done and who are the biggest winners and losers of the day.

Top Three Coins

  • Bitcoin bulls had a memorable day as they pushed the price above $6,000 and $6,100. BTC/USD went up from $5,945 to $6,131.
  • ETH/USD bulls failed to keep the price above $170 as the price went down from $171.70 to $169.
  • XRP/USD went down $0.301 to $0.295. The bulls failed to keep the price in the $0.30 zone.

Biggest Winners and Losers among Top 20 Coins

  • Cosmos (ATOM) plummeted by 15.07% this Thursday. As of right now, it is trading for $3.71.
  • Binance Coin (BNB) went down by a further 8.5% this Thursday and is trading for $18.97. BNB is still suffering from the recent Binance hack.
  • Tezos (XTZ) went down by 6.06% and is currently priced at $1.10.
