Commission-free Robinhood to launch in New York on receiving BitLicense

  • Robinhood commission-free trading available in thirty states in the U.S.

The Silicon Valley-based stock trading application, Robinhood made a grand entrance into the crypto universe with the launched of Robinhood Crypto. The firm made another announced on January 25 that it has been granted the coveted BitLicense as well as a money transmitter license to operate in the state of New York.

Cryptocurrency investors in New York will have the opportunity to utilize the Robinhood platform to invest in the seven assets supported including Bitcoin and Ethereum. At present, residents of at least thirty states in the United States can use the platform to buy and sell cryptocurrencies.
