Coinbase Wallet may remove DApp browser to comply with Apple’s policy

  • Users can still access the DApps through the Coinbase Wallet on their desktop devices.
  • Earlier, MetaMask got its Android client suspended by Google.

Coinbase’s mobile cryptocurrency wallet, Coinbase Wallet, may soon remove its DApp browser. According to the exchange, they are doing this “to comply with App Store policy." As CEO Brian Armstrong puts it in a Reddit post:

"Apple seems to be eliminating usage of Dapps from the App Store."

Users can still access the DApps through the Coinbase Wallet on their desktop devices by using the WalletLink feature. Earlier, MetaMask, another well-known wallet service, announced that Google had suspended its Android client.
