Nvidia: The real plot twist isn’t the earnings, it’s the backdrop

We’ve finally reached Nvidia night. In just a few hours, the world’s most valuable company will open the books, and anticipation is buzzing louder than Jensen Huang’s keynote audio. Will they glide past the $55 billion revenue mark and post another sky-high 73% gross margin? Odds say yes. And don’t be shocked if Huang, leather jacket in place, downplays China like it’s a footnote in the appendix.

But the real plot twist isn’t the earnings — it’s the backdrop. AI hype that was airborne a month ago is now bumping into turbulence: debt alarms getting louder, hopes for an additional Fed cut dissolving, and Japanese yields poking levels that make global investors squirm.

So the big question isn’t whether Nvidia delivers. It’s whether the market still cares. We’ll have our answer soon enough.
