GBP/USD British Pound is under pressure against the U.S. dollar to maintain the current uptrend

The British Pound had a very successful rally against the U.S. dollar since breaking out at 1.23180 on the11th of October 2019 and recently reaching 1.30080. However, the rally could come to an end if it fails to hold above 1.28910.

The pair had several attempts in the past three sessions to breakthrough 1.30080 but failed and been testing 1.28190 support as indicated on the price chart below. A breakdown below 1.28190 could reverse the current trend and push the Pound down to 1.28170 and 1.26990
