CPI so favorable

S&P 500 struggled around 6,015 for a while, there were two distinct intraday flushes, steep and fast – all hingest now on the CPI… if above 0.3%, it‘s bearish for stocks, at 0.3% the bulls will see some headwind but will recover, and for 0.2% or lower, stocks go up significantly. The positioning is leaning bullish, but I was looking for 0.3%, meaning no smooth raging bull as the sectoral view was risk-off, I‘m explaining XLC and XLY in today‘s video alongside LLY pick given to clients before Monday‘s open..

With 0.1% announced, it‘s a great bullish move supporting figure – inflation data didn‘t mind rising oil and oil product prices during the same period. Clients were updated immediately after the data release, and immediate plans across assets shared, it‘s so clear going into the opening bell and opening part of today‘s session… in the context of macro, rate cutting expectations getting adjusted, which has consequences for recently leading equities areas (indices), USD and precious metals…
