US: Markit services PMI slightly lower in November (preliminary)

The Markit Flash US Services PMI Business Activity Index registered 54.7 in November, seasonally adjusted. This was down only fractionally from 54.8 in October and the expected print, and the second-strongest seen over the past 12 months. However, this was the ninth consecutive month of expansion for the sector.
Meanwhile, the Markit Flash US Composite PMI Output Index was unchanged from the 11-month high recorded in October at 54.9. The index has registered above the neutral 50.0 threshold in each month since March.
