US Commerce Department bans six Chinese firms from exporting sensitive tech to US

With the trade dispute heating up after China's announcement of retaliatory tariff hikes on $60 billion worth of U.S. imports, the U.S. Commerce Department in a statement said that it added six Chinese technology firms, one Pakistani firm and five based in the United Arab Emirates to its list of entities that are banned from exporting sensitive U.S. technologies and other goods, as reported by Reuters.
