UK Labour spokesman: Corbyn wants May's deal put to a public vote if it's approved in parliament

A spokesperson for the opposition Labour party recently told reporters that Labour leader Corbyn discussed efforts with other opposition leaders to ensure Prime Minister May's deal would be put to a public vote if she is able to get it approved in parliament. The spokesperson further added that Corbyn called on other opposition leaders in talks on Tuesday to help find a parliamentary majority for a close economic relationship post-Brexit.
