UK CBI June industrial trends orders hit the highest levels since August 1988

The latest economic release out of the UK, shows that the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) trends total orders hit the highest levels seen in nearly 3 decades, since August 1988.

The UK CBI industrial trends orders came in at 16 in June versus 7 expected and 9 last.

Meanwhile, trends-selling prices arrived at 23 vs 20 exp and 23 previous.

Manufacturing export order book balance stood at 13 vs 10 previous, posting the highest levels since 1995.
