RBA to begin tightening cycle in early 2018 – Goldman Sachs

As per economists at Goldman Sachs, Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is likely to begin the tightening cycle in early 2018.

Economists say Q3 of 2016 will mark an important inflation transition point i.e. the gradual reflation in consumer prices.

Interestingly, economists surveyed by Bloomberg earlier this month showed the People’s Bank of China may begin policy tightening as early as 2017.
