Pro-independence parties in Catalonia on track to win majority - 52% of votes counted

"Catalonia's secessionist parties would win 70 seats in the 135-strong regional parliament according to official results with 52 percent of votes counted," Reuters recently reported. 

If confirmed, this would be a major blow to conservative Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, who called the election in the hope that separatist parties would be losing steam.
