Japan’s Asakawa: Parliament will decide whether Aso will attend G20 meeting

Japan's Vice Minister of Finance and International Affairs, Masatsugu Asakawa, was on the wires last minutes, via Reuters, noting that they are aiming for the Japanese Finance Minister Aso to attend the G20 meeting.

However, he quickly added that the final decision on whether or not Aso should go to the G20 meeting depends on the National Diet.

Earlier today, Reuters reported that the embattled Japanese finance minister is considering skipping the G20 meeting.

The G20 meeting will take place on 19-20 March in Buenos Aires.
