Italy's PM Conte preparing for budget deficit of 1.9% - 2.0% - Il Messaggero

According to a report by Il Messaggero, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte was reportedly preparing for a budget deficit of 1.9% to 2.0% and said that Deputy PMs - Luigi Di Maio and Matteo Salvini, were ready to accept the new target.

Conte was further quoted saying that he himself will negotiate with the EU on the budget, not Finance Minister Giovanni Tria.
