Italy considering up to EUR40 billion in new stimulus packages – Corriere

The Italian daily newspaper, Corriere della Sera, carried latest headlines on Friday, citing that Italy is considering up to EUR40 billion worth on new stimulus packages to extend its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this week, the government extended the current lockdown measures until April 13th. Meanwhile, the pace of new infections slowed down in Europe’s third largest economy, with a little less than 800 deaths reported on Thursday.
