Italian FinMin Tria seeking 1.5% deficit/GDP ratio in budget law – La Stampa

According to the latest story carried by the Italian newspaper, La Stampa, the country’s Finance Minister Giovanni Tria is reportedly seeking 1.5% deficit/GDP ratio in Budget law.

Separately, La Corriere reported that the Italian PM Conte, as saying that he won't be seeking a second mandate

"I am having the opportunity and the good fortune to serve the country as President of the Council. But this is my only ride. Then I will not look for candidacies or anything else, I will return serenely to my work.”

Conte has dropped a note that speaks volumes about his future among the government allies. This is his "one lap", one shot, there will not be others.
