Ireland's Hogan: Brexit deal unlikely in November if we don't get proposals in the next few days

Ireland's EU commissioner, Phil Hogan, as quoted the RTE, said that it is unlikely to have a Brexit deal in November if we don't get proposals in the next few days.

Key quotes:

   •  Haven't received any proposals from UK PM May to indicate that we are close to a deal.
   •  EU has made it perfectly clear there is no change in stance on the backstop.
   •  But hopefully, there can be a deal.
   •  If I was a betting person, we would have a December council to discuss the outcome.
