HM Treasury Select Committee does not invite BoE Governor Carney for hearing on November 21

In a recently published statement on Friday, "the Monetary Policy Committee operates according to one person, one vote. The Committee has particularly asked to hear from the external members of the MPC so they have the opportunity to give their views on the interest rate decision, and the outlook for the economy. Accordingly, the Governor has not been invited to give evidence on this occasion," explained HM Treasury Select Committee.
