German Finance Ministry sees easing growth in the future

According to the German Finance Ministry's monthly report on the German economy and tax revenues, and the German ministry is cautioning about growth continuing at a slower pace looking forward.

German labour shortages are on the rise, which could further hamper growth looking forward, as well as low levels on the Rhine river, which is causing logistics and transportation issues, further hampering the flow of goods and cash around the country. With Germany acting as the European Union's main economic powerhouse, slowdowns for the German domestic economy could see widespread markdowns in European economic data.
