Euro-zone April final CPI at 1.2% y-o-y, matches original estimates

According to Eurostat’s final reading of Euro-zone CPI report, consumer prices rose 1.2% on a yearly basis in April, matching the flash estimates. Meanwhile, the core figures also matched the first readout and came in to show a y-o-y rise of 0.7% during the reported period.

On a monthly basis, the bloc’s CPI for April stood at 0.3%, versus a rise of 1.0% recorded in the last month, and the core CPI eased to 0.2% as compared to 1.4% previous.
