ECB’s Constancio: ECB caution in removing stimulus is justified

The European Central Bank (ECB) outgoing Vice President said in Malta on Friday, the ECB is on a gradual normalization process and weak inflation dynamics justify its caution, as cited by Reuters.

Constancio noted: “The caution is justified by the subdued inflation dynamics since the second half of 2017 and the recent levels of headline inflation.”
