Downing Street confirms UK PM Truss is meeting 1922 Committee Chair Brady
|The UK’s Daily Mail reported that Downing Street confirmed that Prime Minister Liz truss is meeting 1922 Committee Chair Graham Brady now.
The Guardian's political editor Pippa Crerar said on Twitter that Truss had called the meeting.
Several Tory MPs are reportedly saying that PM Truss needs to resign immediately while ITV states that the calls for Boris Johnson to return have begun. Though with the privileges committee is due to start taking evidence this autumn on whether he broke the ministerial code.
