China’s April trade data (USD): shows surplus of 28.8 billion

The China customs published trade balance for April in USD terms, reporting a trade surplus on a solid rebound in exports.  

In USD terms,

Trade Balance (USD) Apr came in at 28.8B versus -4.98B previous.

Exports (YoY) Apr: +12.9% vs. -2.7% last.

 Imports (YoY) Mar: +21.5% vs. +14.4 last.

Meanwhile, China’s April trade surplus with the US rises to USD22.19 bln vs USD15.43 bln in March.
