China Dec copper imports fall 4.3% in December

As per Reuters calculation, China's unwrought copper imports fell 4.3 percent to 450,000 tonnes in December from a month earlier. The figure was down from November figure of 470,000 tonnes. Year-on-year, the imports fell 8.2 percent. 

Reuters report quotes customs as saying, "Imports for the whole of 2017 were 4.69 million tonnes, down 5.1 percent year on the year and the lowest annual number since 2013."
