China 10-yr yield nears 4% for first time since 2014

China's campaign excessive borrowing continues to boost the bond yields. The benchmark 10-year Chinese bond yield rose to 3.99 percent; the highest level since Oct. 2014.

Bond market sell-off gathered steam (yields spiked) in mid-October after the People’s Bank of China Governor Zhou Xiaochuan expressed concerns regarding high borrowing levels and signaled that growth could beat expectations.
