Canada: Ivey PMI down to 56.8 in November
|The Ivey Purchasing Managers Index came in at 56.8 on a seasonally adjusted basis in November
While still in expansion, the reading indicates that purchasing activity in Canada contracted from October when the index printed 59.7. A reading above 50 indicates an expansion of purchasing activity, while an index below 50 indicates a decline.
The employment index for November was at 58, indicating employment was higher than in the previous month. The inventories index was at 47.2 and the prices index was at 60.5 in November, both lower than in the previous month.
