Trends in play post summer?

There is a natural movement to price that most private traders fail to embrace as they get caught up in the world of shorter term trading. The summer period is generally void of any liquidity and this is because the market makers, like the rest of the world, are on holiday. This is a time when trend traders stand aside and go into capital protection mode but when day traders continue making trades. Post summer, the market makers return and trends tend to resume and this is when trend traders start opening positions and using the power of compounding to accelerate profit.
