Brexit begins
|So the day has arrived and as you read this text a signed letter from Prime Minister Theresa May is making its way across the channel to be hand delivered by British Ambassador Tim Barrow. The receipt of the letter triggering Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty is all but a formality and more attention will now be paid to PMQ’s this afternoon where the Prime Minister will look to formally announce the action and face scrutiny from other members of the House.
