Tarik Chebib's New Year Resolutions

  • Trust your gut feeling
Most trades that went wrong this year can be attributed to greed or fear. Time spent on devising strategies is wasted if your emotions get the better of you. Hence, I will let trades take their course, interfere less and put more trust in my gut feeling as staying true to yourself always works out best.

  • Understand the drivers of the US economy better
The influence of economic decisions taken in the US for the rest of the world is as important as ever. They shape much of the daily FX price swings and therefore I will dedicate more time to understanding the US economy by reading specific literature and sharing my journey in an increased number of articles.

  • Diversify my goals again
Versatility has always been of utmost importance to me. Achieving my goals in the trading world alone would be too one dimensional. My quest for challenges needs more attention and may result in me competing at a high level in basketball again. Furthermore, I will try to extend my social media presence and hope that traders will profit from my insights.
