XMR, DASH, ZEC, ZEN and SBTC delisted by OKEx Korea

  • OKEx announced the delisting of these privacy coins back on October 2.
  • The firm will review compliance with the “Travel Rules” as per recommendations by the Financial Action Task Force.

Crypto exchange OKEx Korea stopped trading Monero (XMR), DASH, Zcash (ZEC), Horizen (ZEN) and Super Bitcoin (SBTC) on October 10. Back on October 2, the company announced the delisting of the privacy coins. The translation of their notice reads as follows:

“We will announce the changes in the announcement of the end of support for 5 types of cryptocurrency trading, XMR, DASH, ZEC, ZEN, SBTC, announced on September 10, 2019.”

OKEx Korea reported that they will review compliance with the “Travel Rules” as per recommendations by the Financial Action Task Force. OKEx is not the only South Korean exchange to delist privacy tokens. Back in September, Upbit delisted six cryptocurrencies, which included privacy coins.
