Justin Sun offers job to former BitTorrent employee who lost all his life savings in the Quadriga CX debacle

  • Justin Sun, Tron CEO, offered to help out Zhou by giving him back his job at BitTorrent.

Former BitTorrent torrent employee Tong Zhou is one of 115,000 clients of Quadriga CX, who lost all their money following the death of Gerald Cotten, the exchange’s CEO. Zhou, a software engineer, deposited $422,000 to Quadriga CX to transfer them to a Canadian bank however nobody can access those funds following Cotten’s death.

Justin Sun, Tron’s CEO, was moved by Zhou’s plight and offered to help him out by providing him a job at BitTorrent. Sun tweeted:

“Tong Zhou was an ex-@BitTorrent employee and I am saddened by the news of the loss of his life savings in Quadriga CX's digital EX. I sympathize with his predicament and would like to hereby extend an offer to him to once again return to #BitTorrent. #TRON”
