Huobi Global to add support for ERC20 Tether
|- Huobi global has added the Etherum-based version of Tether on top of its traditional Bitcoin-based, Omni Protocol form.
- Tether had released an ERC20 version of their token because it is interoperable with the dApps and protocols hosted on the Ethereum blockchain.
Huobi Global, one of the top crypto exchanges in the world, announced that they are going to add support for Ethereum-based Tether (USDT) on top of its Bitcoin-based typical Omni Protocol form as well. Livio Weng, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Huobi Global, said:
“By offering services for ERC20 Tether, we want to make the trading experience easier for both retail and institutional traders. This is just one more way we’re seeking to enhance user experience and better serve the trading community.”
Paolo Ardoino, Chief Technology Officer of Tether, said:
