Cryptocurrencies Price Prediction: ASTER, Bitcoin & Crypto – European Wrap 1 October

Aster Price Forecast: ASTER on edge amid token unlock risk, declining Open Interest

Aster (ASTER) remains steady at press time on Wednesday, following a 14.6% drop the previous day, driven by rumors of token unlocks. Meanwhile, the declining interest among derivatives traders flashes downside risk.

Quinten Francois, host of Coin Compass, shared on his X account on Tuesday that the unlock of 704 million ASTER tokens on Wednesday, accounting for 8.8% of the total supply, would increase the circulating supply from 5% to 13.8% in one day.

Bitcoin Price Forecast: BTC holds above $114,000 after positive Q3 performance

Bitcoin (BTC) trades in green above $114,000 on Wednesday, rebounding from its key support level the previous day. The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization closed September with a 5.16% gain, bringing Q3 returns to 6.31%. Meanwhile, the institutional demand continues to strengthen this week as it records a second consecutive day of inflow.

The crypto market has rebounded from its low point, but further signals are needed

The crypto market capitalisation has remained virtually unchanged over the past 24 hours, staying close to $3.91 trillion and the 50-day moving average. The market has moved away from local lows but prefers to wait for the next catalyst to determine its direction. Labour market data and the resolution of the US shutdown issue promise to help in this regard.
