Breaking news: Coinbase adds Ethereum Classic to the list of instruments, ETC\USD goes ballistic

Coinbase, the largest US cryptocurrency exchange, announced its plans to add Ethereum Classic to the list of supported coins. ETH will go live on Coinbase in September after a preparatory work, required to provide support for a new coin. The official launch will be announced separately via company's official blog and Twitter.

ETC/USD jumped over 20% in a single hour and touched $16.60 high before retracing to $15.57 at the time of writing.
