Bitcoin to beat the likes of Visa and Mastercard according to a recent study

  • If growth continues for Bitcoin at the current pace, it can overtake the likes of Visa and Mastercard according to a study.
  • The study believes the payment system of Bitcoin is far more superior to conventional international payments and wire transfers.

 

A recent study conducted by Datalight, suggests that Bitcoin will eventually overpower the likes of Visa and Mastercard.

They detailed that “In just 10 years, Bitcoin has managed to compete with the leaders of the payment system industry. Bitcoin’s development is occurring exponentially.” Further noting that if it maintains its current pace of growth, in another 10 years in can surpass all competition.

Datalight believes “right now Bitcoin’s payment system is much superior to the conventional international payments and wire transfers.”

Meanwhile noting that despite its current technical hurdles, Bitcoin will become the preeminent payment network of the world.
