AUD/JPY Technical Analysis: Australian dollar against the Yen attempts to hold at 83.457

The Australian dollar against the Yen managed to push through to 84.001 in yesterday's session but pulled back to 83.457 during the European trading session and now trading at 83.499 and attempts to hold above 83.457support. The Overall trend in the 60 minutes time frame is still bullish; however, AUD/JPY continues to slide with lower highs and moving towards the side of the channel and risk falling out of the long-term price channel if it drops below 83.457. We might see another attempt at 84.001 if it holds at 83.457. Failure to hold at the current support could see Aussie dollar fall to 83.199 - 83.037
