  • The US Dollar Index (DXY) is trading in a bull trend above its main simple moving averages near the 97.00 figure.
  • DXY bears tested the waters below by attempting to break below the triangle pattern. Bulls were alive and kicking and managed to erase earlier losses ending the day virtually unchanged. 
  • The market is fairly balanced with bulls having the advantage of the main trend on their side.
