Fed's Fischer: It's always better to have an independent central bank

Stanley Fischer, the vice-chairman of the Fed's board of governors, recently crossed the wires saying that it was always better to have an independent central bank. Fischer further added that flexible inflation targeting made some sense and a target range for inflation was worth looking at, as per LiveSquawk reports.
