American equity markets net early advances after US data

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The US Stock market opened up positively across the board Friday after the improved figures of US employment and jobs, specifically Nonfarm payrolls, which recorded a figure of 171K in October, against a consensus of only 125K. Beginning with the indices and composites, the NASDAQ gained +0.21% as it settles in region of 3026.86, up 6.30 points in these moments.

In addition, the S&P 500 is trading in positive territory, operating at 1432.52, gaining 4.89 points or +0.34% at the time of writing. Finally, the Dow Jones has moved higher at the opening as well, operating in the zone of 13270.01, presently up +0.28% after an ascent of 37.39 points.

Sectors are all positive the opening, however the Consumer Cyclical and Conglomerates sectors have distinguished itself as the winners thus far, rising +0.66% and +0.83% respectively. In other news, the price of crude has settled below USD $86.91 today, falling -0.21%.
