ECB's Stark sees little deflation risk for euro zone

BERLIN, Dec 22 (Reuters) - European Central Bank Executive Board Member Juergen Stark said on Monday there were clear signs there were no deflation risks in the euro zone at the moment.

"There are clear indicators that from today's point of view, deflation in the euro zone is not to be expected," Stark told the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung.

He said he was "delighted" about the fact that the inflation rate had gone down so sharply.

"I'm not concerned about this correction," he said.
