QUITO, Nov 18 (Reuters) - Ecuador has kept its economic growth estimate unchanged at above 6 percent in 2008, Central Bank chief Carlos Vallejo told Reuters on Tuesday, despite fears that a global slowdown could hurt the OPEC nation's finances.
Vallejos comments came only hours after President Rafael Correa vowed to jump-start the economy and limit imports to counter a global crisis that has dragged down oil prices.
