Wall street rises on positive data; Dow and S&P at 5-year highs

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed Thursday with sharply gains on the back of unemployment and housing strong data. The S&P finished the day at its highest level since 2007.

The Dow Jones advances 84.79 points or 0.63% to finish close to 5-year highs at 13,596.02. The S&P gained 8.31 points or 0.56% to close at its best level since December 28 2007 at 1,480.94. And the Nasdaq Composite added 19.46 points or 0.59% to end at 3,136.00.
