Canada: CPI rose 0.8% YoY in December (Barcelona) - Canadian consumer prices rose 0.8% on a year through December, missing expectations at 1.2%. On a monthly basis prices contracted 0.6%, vs. -0.2% expected.

The Bank of Canada Core CPI rose 1.1% over the last twelve months. On a monthly basis, core prices fell 0.1%. Prior surveys were +1.4% and -0.2%, respectively.
